Prescription drug take back in NK

New Kent Sheriff’s Office will be participating in the “National Prescription Drug Take Back Initiative” on Saturday, Oct. 26, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Drop off locations will be New Kent’s Sheriff’s Office and Quinton Fire Station.

With the exception of syringes, all unused/unwanted prescriptions may be dropped off at either site. All submissions are considered anonymous and no question will be asked by law enforcement.

New Kent Sheriff’s Office had a great deal of interest and positive reports from citizens regarding this program in the past.
