Citizenship award winners

New Kent Sheriff’s Office presented three New Kent students with the Kip Kephart citizenship award. Each year a student from each elementary school and the middle school are recognized by school staff members in areas of good citizenship that includes good behavior and positive characteristics. Each winner receives a cash award, certificate, and name engraved on a plaque. Above, Julian Vogt of New Kent Elementary accepts the award.
