Destiny’s Journey, a performing arts center, opened its doors March 22 at its new facility at 5206 New Kent Highway. Owned by Tjonda and Priscilla Wallace, the Christian-based center provides classes to teach life skills, teamwork, self love, and Christian values. Destiny’s Journey provides opportunities for children to enhance acting and vocal skills. Classes are Saturday, 7-10 p.m., with open microphone/karoke the first Friday of every month 7-10 p.m.
