Carroll receives graduate award

Chelsea Carroll, a graduate student at Longwood University from Lanexa, recently received the university’s Graduate Leadership Award.

Carroll received the award during the May 9 graduate commencement. She is expected to graduate in May 2015 with a M.S. in education/counselor education, with a concentration in mental health counseling. She received a B.S. in psychology from Longwood last year.

Carroll is a graduate of Lafayette High School and is the daughter of Jamie Carroll of Lanexa and Terry Carroll of Williamsburg.
