Maguire awarded Juris Doctor in law

James Joseph Maguire, a Quinton resident, was awarded a Juris Doctor from the School of Law at Regent University on May 3.

While at Regent, Maguire’s accomplishment include being appointed to the ADR board, Phi Alpha Delta, Academic Merit scholarship, New Kent County Commonwealth’s Attorney legal intern, Portsmouth Commonwealth’s Attorney legal intern, and Regent University Golf Association officer.

Maguire is a 2007 graduate of Benedictine High School and a 2011 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic and State University.

He is the son of James E. Maguire and Rebecca A. Maguire of Quinton.
