CC, NK “National Night Out”

Above, Charles City Sheriff’s deputy Frank Crawley (center) and other office representatives welcome citizens during the county’s “National Night Out” event on Aug. 5. The event is a national organized gathering featuring county representatives and celebrated all over the country in an effort to educate citizens on safety, neighborhood unity, and community awareness. Below, New Kent Sheriff’s Office personnel allow young deputies to explore the special operations vehicle and get a hands-on opportunity to inspect it.
