Karate club cools off

Members of David Frank’s Karate Club participate in the ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) ice water challenge on Aug. 21 at Quinton Community Center. ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, affects the nervous and muscular systems and limits motor functions. The club is one of many groups and individuals participating in the ice water challenge, that has raised more than $22 million nationwide.
