Bristow directing play at Radford University
James Bristow, a New Kent resident who is studying theatre and cinema at Radford University, will direct “Jack Goes Boating” to open the 2014 theater season.
The play is based from an off-Broadway play written by Bob Glaudini that focuses on an average guy. Bristow will head the action as director at the Hawes Studio Theatre.
“I want the audience to walk away feeling ready to take on whatever is happening in their lives,” said Bristow in the press release. “The play is wonderful at captivating the audience without having anything overly dramatic happening.”
The play is scheduled to perform Sept. 24-27 at 7:30 p.m.
