Charles City County 36th annual Christmas Parade

Above, Tin Saddle's Car Club Nativity scene garnered first place in the float division of Charles City's 36th annual Christmas Parade held last Saturday. More than 100 individual entries participated in the parade after a one-year hiatus. Below, Kiana Ghee cruises down the road as the new Miss Charles City County Volunteer Fire Department, while at bottom Charles City High School's Band gets everybody in the holiday spirit as they play a variety of Christmas songs on the three-mile journey. Other parade winners are: Bands- 1. Fort Lee, 2. Charles City High School. Marching Units- 1. Fort Lee Color Guard, 2. Charles City High School JROTC, 3. Black Gum Saddle Club. Church Float- 1. Samaria Baptist, 2. Little Elam Baptist. Generic Floats- 1. Tin Saddle Car Club, 2. Charles City Jaguars, 3. Waste Management. Special Entry- 1. Antique Military Vehicle Association, 2. River City Riders, T-3. Buffalo Soldiers, T-3. Richmond Metropolitan Cars, T-3. Richmond Antique Cars.
