Letter to the editor: Alerts readers of Box Tops expiration dates

As my first child entered kindergarten this year, I started to help with the PTO (Parent Teacher Organization). In helping with the Box Tops program, I was surprised to learn that they expire. I had been saving them for a few years but had not really looked at them. I had to throw many in the trash!

I wanted to pass along to others in the community this information and let people know that even if you don’t have children in school, we would love your box tops, Labels for Education, and Tyson A+ Reward Labels. This money really helps our schools, so please consider dropping then off at the elementary or middle school! Thank you!
