New Kent County Fair moves to August

The 44th annual New Kent County Fair will be held a month earlier than normal in 2015. The event is scheduled for Aug. 14-16 at Colonial Downs.

Information concerning exhibits, vendors, pageant, and entertainment will be available at www.newkentcountyfair.com beginning Mar. 1.

Volunteers and ideas are needed for the fair. A general meeting will be held by the New Kent County Fair association on Thursday, Feb. 12, 7 p.m. at the New Kent Administration building.
