Mr. and Mrs. Michael Curtis Legg (Kimberly Dawn McCormick).

The marriage of Miss Kimberly Dawn McCormick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert McCormick, Jr. of New Kent, Virginia to Mr. Michael Curtis Legg, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Legg of Mechanicsville, Virginia, took place on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Corinth Baptist Church in New Kent. The Reverend Greg English, Recreation Minister of Cool Spring Baptist Church, Mechanicsville, officiated.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Honor Attendants were Robert McCormick, III. brother of the bride, and Jamie Legg, brother of the groom. Readers were Stephanie McCormick, sister-in-law of the bride and Livia Legg, sister-in-law of the groom.

The groom’s parents hosted a family dinner at Strawberry Street Café in Richmond on the 18th. The bride’s parents hosted the Wedding reception at The Vintager Inn, in New Kent.

The bride is a graduate of Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg and is employed by Hanover County Public Schools as a Kindergarten teacher in Ashland. The groom is a graduate of Averett College in Danville, and is employed by Lancaster Laboratories in Richmond.

After a honeymoon to Charleston and Isle of Palms, South Carolina, the couple will reside in western Henrico County.
