Bottom of the Bridge LaSertoma offers youth award

Bottom of the Bridge LaSertoma is pleased to announce through fundraisers, the organization will sponsor a $100 Youth Service Award to a New Kent student.

The award is to recognize a youth in the community that exemplifies leadership and community service. To be eligble, a student must be a resident of New Kent and recognized for outstanding performance in the areas of volunteer community service and school-required service activities.

Applications are available at each of the New Kent schools’ guidance offices, or by calling Brenda Johnston at 932-9423. Applications are due by Mar. 5.
