Letter to the Editor: Says America is at war with Islamic jihadists

In defining our enemy, we must understand that Muslims are a nationality, a culture, and a way of life.

Islam is their religion that is moderate, peaceful and loving. It is also radical, extremist and terroristic in nature. The Islam you see is all things to Muslims. Open the book of the Koran, one page preaches peace; turn the page and it is 100 percent jihadist which is defined to fight or to war against another.

Islamic-Sharia is their law; it is their politics and it is their way of life and death. Those who do not submit to their religion are to be put to death or enslaved.

It is said that there are about one and a half billion Muslims in the world today. If one percent follow jihad that would be about 140 thousand radicals. Whatever a Muslim culture may be the Koran has pages and passages that support those who seek peace and those who pursue jihad, a caliphate, and world domination.

Islamic jihadists do not subscribe to “radical” or “extremist” names. Whether we accept it or not, these jihadists believe they are following the Islamic scriptures.

We are at war against those who have already declared war against us and the rest of the free world. It was not a war of our choosing. We must identify our objectives and then develop a strategy to achieve it. But first, we have to identify who and what the enemy is. We cannot expect to win any war when Obama refuses to prosecute the war against Islamic jihadists, the true enemy against Western civilization and Judeo-Christian moral, ethical values, and principles.
