Mr. and Mrs. Brian Parsley of Deltaville, Mr. and Mrs. Lt. Col. C.W. Martin, Jr. of New Kent, Va. announce the engagement of their daughter, Alexandria Chandler Martin of New Kent to Kenneth Neil Johnson of Mechanicsville, Va. son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Johnson, also of Mechanicsville, Va.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Falkenstein of Deltaville and the late Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Martin, Sr. of Colonial Heights, Va.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Duff and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johnson, all of Buena Vista, Va.

Miss Martin received her Bachelor Degree in History from Randolph-Macon College and is employed by Tabb, Brockenbrough and Ragland.

Mr. Johnson is a graduate of Atlee High School and is employed by Dominion Virginia Power.

An October wedding in Hanover is planned.
