New Kent Middle School Poetry Slam

Above, Caleb Kowlessar expresses himself through a poem entitled "Picture Perfect" on his way to winning the inaugural New Kent Middle School Poetry Slam on Apr. 23. Nine students participated in four rounds of competition, reading original poems and speaking before an audience of 100.
