Bottom of the Bridge LaSertoma offering $1,000 scholarship

The Bottom of the Bridge LaSertoma is pleased to announce that the organization will be offering a $1,000 scholarship grant to a New Kent High School Senior pursuing a college education.

To be eligible for the Scholarship Grant Award, a high school senior can apply for the scholarship grant. The scholarship is based on financial/special needs, transcript of grades, future education, and community work/leadership. The student selected will compete for an additional $1,000 scholarship grant through LaSertoma International. The deadline date for receipt of scholarship applications is May 15, 2015.

Applications for the scholarship grant is available at the New Kent High School guidance counselor’s office or by calling Brenda Johnston, LaSertoma Chairperson, at 932-9423. Applications must be returned to Jennifer Smethurst, guidance counselor, at New Kent High School by the above date.
