Letter to the Editor: Thanks groups that supported New Kent Parks and Recreation sports scholarship program

New Kent Parks and Recreation is overwhelmed with this year’s participation in the Sports Scholarship Wind Banner program. Local businesses, organizations, and churches supported this year’s program with over $5,000! These funds are distributed for participants in parks and recreation sports programs, as well as co-sponsored and affiliate groups of New Kent Parks and Recreation.
