Live Smart 2015 at New Kent High School

Above, freshmen perform CPR on mannequins to receive certification during the Live Smart program on Apr. 30 at New Kent High School. Sponsored by New Kent Educational Foundation, New Kent Fire and Rescue, New Kent Sheriff's Office, and Central Virginia CPR Council, the course provided students with life-saving techniques and information in case of an emergency. YADAPP (Youth Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Project) also offered activities to simulate the dangers of being intoxicated including navigating a course (below) and trying to align puzzle pieces together on pictures while wearing disorienting goggles and glasses.
