Field day fun at George Watkins Elementary School

Above, parents and kids team up in the always competitive tug-of-war during George Watkins Elementary School's annual field day on May 7. Third, fourth, and fifth graders got their opportunity to participate in a fun-filled day of activities as a motivator to succeed on upcoming Standards of Learning (SOL) testing. Below, kids participate in the over/under relay race while at bottom, girls take the field in a tough two-lap race.
