New Kent Teacher of the Year 2015-16

Above, New Kent Superintendent of Schools David Myers presents New Kent Middle School sixth grade history teacher Lindsay Horne a plaque as the school district’s Teacher of the Year during the school board’s May 7 monthly meeting. Horne earned the honor with peers and staff acknowledging her as a ‘master teacher’ and community leader. Below (l to r) Horne, George Watkins Elementary School’s Dezarae Bertram, New Kent High School’s Shelly Marin, and New Kent Elementary’s Jean Fox are all recognized as their respective schools’ teachers of the year.
