Visitor honored in Providence Forge

Martijin van Haren of Holland (center, wearing United States flag shirt) visited Providence Forge with the VFW Riders Post 9808 of Mechanicsville as part of his tour of the country to visit World War II veterans on Aug. 1. Haren is part of an adoption program of American cemeteries in Europe. He visited family members of fallen soldiers and enjoyed a luncheon in Providence Forge hosted by Krag-Stevens Cash in his honor.
