Chickahominy Tribe’s 64th pow-wow celebration

Head Female Dancer and Chickahominy Tribe member Ashton Montez (left) is joined by Head Male Dancer and member of the Haliwa-Saponi Tribe Will Richardson during grand entry as part of the 64th annual Chickahominy Pow-wow on Sept. 26-27 on the tribal grounds in Charles City. Rain couldn’t dampen the spirits as a large crowd joined in to witness and celebrate the annual festivities.
