Lush Nails & Spa opened its doors to customers on May 8 in Quinton. Located at 3215 Rock Creek Villa Drive, #6, the business offers nail and salon services to customers. Owner Hoa Duong has five years of experience in the field and says he wanted to be part of the growth of New Kent. “I am very excited to be a part of this great community and I hope many people will find my service beneficial to them,” Duong said in a press release. Bottom of the Bridge LaSertoma offering $1,000 scholarship

The Bottom of the Bridge LaSertoma is pleased to announce that the organization will be offering a $1,000 scholarship grant to a New Kent High School Senior pursuing a college education. To be eligible for the Scholarship Grant Award, a high school senior can apply for the scholarship grant. The scholarship is based on financial/special needs, transcript of grades, future education, and community work/leadership. The student selected will compete for an additional $1,000 scholarship grant through LaSertoma International. The deadline date for receipt of scholarship applications is May 15, 2015.
