Tupponce performance highlights Arts Alive

A West Point native highlights the Arts Alive holiday performance on Saturday, Dec. 12, 7 p.m. Toni Tupponce and A Sign of the Times band will perform jazz, classic R&B, and holiday music at the Robinson/Olsson Auditorium and Fine Arts Center. Tupponce and her company are now based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. She currently serves as a program director for A Sign of the Times of the Carolinas and its ensemble as a storyteller and singer. Scholarships available for prospective RCC students

Rappahannock Community College is offering a number of scholarships through a single electronic application. Students will have the opportunity to apply through the school’s website (www.rappahannock.edu) to apply for scholarships for the 2016-17 academic year at the school. Prospective students should click on the link “RCC Student Scholarships” in the “Explore RCC” information box on the home page. Submission deadline for scholarships is Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, at 11:59 p.m. For more information, contact Sherika Charity at the financial aid office at 758-6737.
