Macie dances for miracles

Macie DeLuke, a Charles City resident and fifth grader at L.P. Jackson Middle School in Surry, recently performed at the fifth annual CJ's Thumbs Up Foundation Ball, an organization that provides assistance to families of children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. Macie has been dancing since the age of five, strives academically, and displays good citizenship. She is the daughter of Victor and Vanteen DeLuke of Charles City.
