Local students named to RCC honor society

Rappahannock Community College’s Alpha Lambda Omicron chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society inducted students who reside in Charles City and New Kent County during an Apr. 22 ceremony.

Christian Babin, Patricia Dalton, Julianna Jones, and Mathew Osborne, all of New Kent, and Sarah Saunders of Charles City were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements. In order to be named to the society, a student must maintain a grade-point average of 3.5 or better.

Phi Theta Kappa is the official honor society for two-year colleges worldwide and has more than two million members.
