Karaffa graduates from United States Marine Corps

Kevin Karaffa, a 2014 alum of New Kent High School and current junior at Radford University, graduated from the United States Marine Corps boot camp on Apr. 1 from Parris Island, South Carolina.

Karaffa enlisted in the Marine Reserves and completed the course. On May 10, he graduated from Marine Combat training at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He was also selected as the only honor graduate from a company of 355 fellow cadets.
