Cub Scouts plant forage for the future

Cub scout members from the Wolf Den with Pack 562 of Quinton (l to r) Zachary Whitehead, Steve Stazenski, Collin Smolnik, Aiden Myers, and Jon Madson, recently completed their "Change in the Community" project. The scouts planted native seedlings throughout Wahrani Park to provide forage for the animals and birds. The donation of plants, made by Neil Clark Extension Agent of the Southeastern District Forestry for Virginia Cooperative Extension, helped the boys meet their requirement for the organization.
