New Kent EDA announces 2016 award winners

New Kent’s Economic Development Authority (EDA) held its annual business awards ceremony on May 19 at Royal New Kent Golf Club. Guest speaker Congressman Rob Wittman addressed more than 170 in attendance for the festivities.

County residents and business owners voted for award winners in six different categories. This year’s winners are Stay & Play Childcare (At Your Service Award), Hole Family Donuts (Made in New Kent), McDonald’s of Quinton (Workforce Development), Third Base Grill (Best Small Business), Cumberland Hospital (Best Large Business), and Becky Ringley (Business Citizen of the Year).
