Holland attends leadership conference

Haley Holland, a sophomore at New Kent High School, attended the Hugh O’Brian Leadership seminar (HOBY) June 3-5 at James Madison University.

Holland was chosen among her peers to participate in the summit geared to giving back to the community. Attendees pledged to complete 100 hours of volunteer service and use hands-on activities to improve personal leadership skills and make a positive impact in their community. She was among 250 students selected from around the state.

Haley is the daughter of Michael and Ann Holland of New Kent.
