Taking Root Farm Tour names locations for 2016

Virginia Cooperative Extension Office has announced locations for the 2016 Taking Root Farm Tour.

This year the tour will be at Poplar Springs Farm (5810 Emmaus Church Road, Providence Forge) and Hockaday Sheep Farm (10910 Carriage Road, Providence Forge). The tour will feature four different kinds of farming operations at these two locations. Among operations and area of interest include the raising of sheep and beef cows, wool spinning, wine making, using farm equipment, and more.
