Members of Charles City’s Girl Scout Troop 193 explored the nation’s capital on July 15-17. Using money raised from the sell of cookies, the group elected to learn about the nation’s heritage and civil liberties during times of strife. Place visited included the Washington Monument, the White House, the Capital Building, and the American Indian Museum.
