Charles City ‘National Night Out’ 2016

More than one hundred people attended Charles City's National Night Out on Aug. 2 at the Charles City Recreation Center. Local sheriff's offices, such as Charles City's for this event, join in the nationwide event that is held the first Tuesday in August to promote safety and community involvement for a safe neighborhood. Guests were able to partake in a variety of activities such as receiving snow cones and playing in bounce houses (above) or showing off a combination of dance and fitness moves indoors (below).
