Centennial celebration

Above, kids enjoy a wonderful carousel ride as part of the festivities of the 100th anniversary of Charles City’s County Fair on Sept. 10. The move of the fair to Charles City High School paid dividends, as 400 people were on hand during the opening ceremonies for the monumental occasion.
