Letter to the Editor: Thanks supporters of the New Kent High School football program

New Kent High School’s football program would like to thank the following businesses and groups for their generous donations and support for the pre-game meal program for the varsity team: Antonio’s, John Stump (Realtor, Caldwell Banker), Bill Mitton (Light Source Electric LLC), Chick-fil-A (White Oak), Martin’s (Laburnum), Davis Produce, Walker’s Dam Grill, and the New Kent Educational Foundation. There were also many parents, coaches, and friends of the program that donated time, money, food, paper products, and gift cards to support the meals.

The coaches and players are preparing for the 2017 season and we ask for continue support through donations or the purchase of “New Kent Strong: A Gridiron Cookbook” that is available in the high school’s main office. All proceeds go to the football program.
