CCHS Scholastic Bowl team wins first match in at least six years

Charles City High School’s Scholastic Bowl team won its first competition of the season on Dec. 1.

The team of Antuan Brown, Jesus Carpio, Jason Brown, and Matthew Bartle defeated King & Queen 170-125, marking the team’s first victory in at least six years. Brown was the leading scorer in the contest, accounting for 110 points.
