Peace poster contest winner

Charles City High School student Em'Miyah Cotman (right) is recognized as the local winner of the Lions International Peace Poster Contest sponsored by the New Kent County Lions Club. Her poster was selected to compete at the next level against winners from other districts with the possibility of facing international competition. Accompanied by high school art teacher Lauren Wood, Em'Miyah's work, as well as work of other poster submissions from students, can be seen at Heritage Public Library in Charles City.
