New Kent Chamber donates to schools

New Kent Chamber of Commerce representative Kim Filipowitz (left) presents a $5,000 check to New Kent superintendent Dave Myers during the Jan. 19 regular meeting of the school board. The donation consists of proceeds raised from the annual New Kent Chamber Cup golf tournament to provide scholarships for graduating students.
