New Kent County’s Health Department teamed with nursing assistant students from Bridging Communities Career and Technical Center for a hands-on healthcare experience on Feb. 23. The students checked vital signs and conducted blood pressure readings for 33 county employees and provided educational packets promoting healthy living tips that include handwashing techniques and proper fiber and sugar intake.
