Honoring World War veterans

Delegate Chris Peace (left) spends time with World War II veteran Otis Timberlake of Providence Forge as part of New Kent Historical Commission’s and the Virginia WWI and WWII Commemoration Commission honoring of local veterans on Mar. 18 at New Kent Courthouse. The event honored veterans of both wars through pictures, mobile exhibits, interactive museums, and informational sessions as part of a three-day recognition for their sacrifices in defending the United States.
