Working towards the Eagle Scout promotion

New Kent residents C.J. Krawiec (top, second from right) and Derric Bayne (top, far right) were among 10 members of Boy Scout Troop 518 to work on a project to become Eagle Scouts on Apr. 9. The group reconstructed four horseshoe pits for the Brickshire Community to meet the requirements and earn the recognition. The group also assembled 12 dog beds the week prior for New Kent County's Animal Shelter.
