Jones to attend Sorensen Institute

New Kent High School senior Julianna Jones has been selected as a participant of the Sorensen Institute at the University of Virginia in July as part of the organization’s High School Leaders Program.

The institute offers two-week classes for students to diverge in Virginia politics, policy, governance, ethics in leadership, and bipartisanship. The program is designed to build knowledge and skills for the attendees to step forward into leadership rolls within their communities.
