Girls Scouts lead the way for cancer survivors during the opening lap as New Kent's Relay for Life returned to the county after a three year absence. Approximately 25 cancer survivors took part in the opening lap with family, friends, and team members accompanying them on the subsequent laps. The event is used as a fundraiser to support the fight of all types of cancer and also provide information on the disease and ways to combat it.Andre' Jones photo
