Animal adventures at Heritage Public Library

Kids receive a personal encounter with a terrapin as Virginia’s Living Museum Peyton Hunt carries it around as part of Heritage Public Library’s Chesapeake Bay Adventures presentation on July 10. New Kent’s rendition of the show brought in approximately 80 people to learn about the bay’s environment as well as see a number of sea creatures who occupy the habitat.
