New Kent Middle School BETA earns bronze at nationals

Above, New Kent Middle School’s Junior BETA Club trio of Aaron Sweeney, Noah Schneider, and Afton Fults creation of the robot “iMouse” propelled them to a third-place finish at national competition in June. The group competed with schools around the nation and finished with the bronze in the Junior Division II category. Also representing New Kent Middle School at the nationals was Sadie Call (below), who received honorable mention in the scrapbook competition.
