New Kent County Fair 2017

Despite on and off weather, residents and visitors were able to check out exhibits, shows, and a number of attractions during the three-day event.

Tracy Bryan accumulated 290 points to claim the top spot in the adult division for this year’s sweepstakes at New Kent’s County Fair.

Last year’s winner Martha Martin rung in 128 points, good enough to take second place in the competition. Marilyn DeHart scored 117 points to round out the top three.

In the youth competition, Justine Eckert scored 102 points to be named as the winner of the division.

Carly Turner put together a 54-point performance to finish in second place, while Lucy Vick’s 28 points was good enough to earn her the bronze.
