Halloween ‘Fun Run’ is October 21

Girl Scout Troop 5301, based out of New Kent, in conjunction with Heritage Public Library will host a Halloween Fun Run and 5K on Saturday, Oct. 21.

The event will begin at Heritage Public Library at 8 a.m., with onsite registration at 7 a.m. The run is being used as a fundraiser to support Heritage Public Library and allow Junior Scouts to earn their Bronze Award. Participants are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.

Cost of the Fun Run is $15 and the 5K is $25. Registration can be done online at halloween5kfunrun.eventbrite.com or onsite at the day of the event.
