New director named for VCT Foundation

Catherine Anthony has been named the new executive director of the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation.

Anthony will replace Beth Weisbrod, who is stepping down on Sept. 30.

Anthony is a Richmond native and has spent time in leadership positions for nonprofits and outdoor/recreational organizations.

The Virginia Capital Trail runs from Richmond to Williamsburg, with more than half located in Charles City.
