Baylands becomes state charter

Baylands Federal Credit Union has changed its name to Baylands Family Credit Union.

The change comes after final regulatory approval to see it change from a federal to state charter. The move will allow the credit union to expand service to other communities and enhance the potential for future growth.

Baylands Family Credit Union serves Charles City and New Kent, with a branch located in the Bottoms Bridge area of New Kent.
